Among the portfolios inherited from the National Arts Council, Golden Point Award was one of the projects with a long history behind it. Established back in 1993, the national writing competition aimed at capturing new writing talents across Singapore's four languages.

We transformed what used to be a campaign held together by a few giant newspaper ads into a message-driven digital campaign: Writing is for anybody and everybody, and it can change your life. Especially with the looming realities of the pandemic, we wanted to digitise the experience of writing and encouraged beginners everywhere to express their innermost thoughts on paper, to take a leap at becoming an established writer.
